From 7 to 9 October 2024, NORDGATE will again be represented at EXPO REAL in Munich.

NORDGATE, the cooperative venture between the six municipalities of Neumünster, Bad Bramstedt, Kaltenkirchen, Henstedt-Ulzburg, Quickborn, and Norderstedt on the A7, presents itself as the second-strongest economic region in the true north at the Schleswig-Holstein booth B2.330. A highlight of the trade fair is the panel discussion "Green Lighthouse Projects in the North" hosted by NORDGATE on October 7 at 3 p.m. at booth B2.330 (Schleswig-Holstein). Participating in the discussion will be Hadi Teherani – architect, designer, and visionary from Hamburg (below left), Payam Hazin – Managing Director of Hadi Teherani Solar GmbH (below right), and mayors of the respective locations. The discussion will showcase groundbreaking projects from the NORDGATE region, including the hydrogen hub in Neumünster: The building, designed by star architect Hadi Teherani, will not only produce green hydrogen but will also house a visitor and research center. The focus is also on the UBS4 housing project in Norderstedt: 71 subsidized rental apartments reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 75% through the use of geopolymer concrete and timber frame construction.

"The green flagship projects presented here impressively demonstrate how we combine sustainability and economic growth in the NORDGATE region. These projects are not only important for our region, but can also be groundbreaking. They demonstrate how we can work together to develop creative solutions to the challenges of climate change while simultaneously creating attractive locations for companies." On October 8th at 12 p.m., NORDGATE in Munich will be hosting a "Hurry to Curry" event with currywurst (vegetarian options available).
